About Us

My business, Phoenix Sun Tree Care, is named after my son, Phoenix. I bring the same values to this work that I bring to being a father: honesty, accountability, care, and respect.

Before I recommend any work, I ask myself: would I do this on my own land? If the answer is no, I won’t recommend it for yours. If your tree doesn’t need pruning yet, I’ll tell you. And if something can wait another year, you’ll know.

Before starting this company, I was an organic vegetable farmer, orchardist, and certified permaculture designer. That background shapes how I see trees. When I look at your property, I’m not just seeing one branch or one season—I’m thinking about the soil, the root system, how the tree will grow over the next five or ten years.
